And here we go

The name's Bash. Chicks dig me, because I rarely wear underwear and when I do it's usually something unusual…like a onesie.

This is my blog. Enjoy.

Think I'm getting the hang of it

So I've been a kid for like 3 months now…and I think I'm getting the hang of it. It's not so bad once you realize you have absolutely no control over anything, like your bodily functions, people picking you up and messing with you, giant dogs licking your face…you know, that sort of thing. I guess when you break it all down, we babies are kinda like crying, drooling paperweights. We're just hanging out wherever you put us last, holding down the woobies, until you decide to put us somewhere else. Sweet.

As for how I'm settling in, I feel like I'm doing pretty well at home. I'm getting comfortable in my surroundings and learning the ropes. I've got everything I need right there in my room. It's a pretty cool crib, as in nursery…but I have an actual crib as well and it's cool too.

Just recently, I started gaining some motor skills. I can kick my legs and wave my fists in the air. I can hold my head up and look around, so I've got that going for me. I'm even starting to talk to mommy (remind me to show you the video later). We have full length conversations about all kinds of stuff! This, that, the other, whatever's happening in our day. Any old thing that comes to mind, really. I say a few things, then she replies back. We've got a good rhythm. Granted, I'm really not making much sense to anyone else but I can understand me. At least I know what I'm saying, it's not my fault they don't speak "baby."

Well…I need to go now. I mean really, I need to go. There's a blue line happening on my diaper and I need to be changed. Where are you people...
