And here we go

The name's Bash. Chicks dig me, because I rarely wear underwear and when I do it's usually something unusual…like a onesie.

This is my blog. Enjoy.

Thumbs up!

Ah crap...looks like I fell asleep on my hand again. Ever since I started rolling over I end up in these weird positions. I start out on my back and then all heck breaks loose!!

Today, I couldn't figure out why daddy was laughing at me. I just thought he was sleep deprived and goofy, like always. Well, it turns out I fell asleep on my hand. But I must have been happy or something because it looks like I was giving the thumbs up! Good thing I wasn't in a bad mood, I might have been giving the finger...

Ouch! Do we really have to do this again?

What is wrong with you people!!! Why do you insist on taking me to that strange lady in a white coat in a cold office every few months, sticking me with those pointy skewers and saying it's for my own good!! Immunizations, Shmimmunizations...it just plain hurts! What the deuce, folks?!?!?

Although...my Snoopy bandaid did match very well with my tie die onsie. Couture is important, even at 6 months.

Daddy's first Fathers Day!

Ok, so I've really been getting behind on my updates here. A lot has been going on and its very distracting so my bad...

Anyway, I definitely wanted to be sure to post this. A while ago was Father's Day and it was pretty special...being the FIRST time Daddy could actually celebrate being a real life father and all... Yeah, you're welcome.

We had a great time and celebrated with Grandma and Grandpa. I even gave Daddy a Father's Day card. Trust me, that was not easy. I had to make a special trip to the store. You wouldn't believe how hard it is to get out if this house without Mommy and Daddy knowing. Watchdogs, these two... Like escaping from a prison, I tell ya...though a pretty swanky prison, I must add. So I guess I can't complain.

Ok, so I did manage to get away for a bit to buy Daddy a card. I had a hell of a time getting the thing in my stroller but I managed. You should have seen the look on Daddy's face when I gave him this...

Real food, dude!

Holy cow!! More big news in the world of Bashness! Check this out…

Yesterday was my first time ever tasting real grown up food! I know, right?!?!?! Crazy... Ya see, Mommy has been wanting to do this for a while now and talking all about it to Daddy. It seemed here lately like the formula stuff that I started with just wasn't cutting it, ya know what I mean? Now don't get me wrong, that Similac was good stuff! It treated me well and got me through some tough times. Yeah, my Similac and me…we go way back…practically my whole life…that's a whole 5 and a half months, folks!

So like I said, Mommy had been planning this for a while. She started sitting me in my highchair and getting me ready for the big event. She kept feeding me my normal bottle stuff but she made sure I was in my highchair when I did. Guess that gets me used to eating like you big people, huh?

She knew I was ready because I ate and ate and ate and I was always still hungry. It was like I couldn't get enough! Kind of a pain for her, really, cuz that's all the poor lady did. Just kept getting up and down and heating up bottles and feeding me a bajillion times a day…poor Mommy…

Anyway, back to the point of my story. Yesterday, she decided it was time to make the switch. She got out the first bottle of real time regular people baby food…it was something called carrots. Have you heard of them? Yeah, me neither. It tasted really good to me! I liked it and kept eating as much as Mommy let me. It did looks strange though...a weird color…and made my poopie the same color later. Just wanted you to remember that in case you ever try carrot food. I'm just looking out for ya…baby daps…

As usual, Daddy had his camera out to capture the moment. That dude…I swear…

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooopoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!.....

I refuuuuuuuuuuuse to faaaaaaaaall asleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep!!!!!

And that is why I'm so cranky...

Apparently, I am supposed to just fall asleep when I'm tired. Whatever... There is so much going on in my world right now that I want to watch and it makes me mad when I can't keep my eyes open. So I struggle with it all day long! I fight it and cry out and I yell at Mommy and Daddy. I don't really mean to and I know it makes them crazy but I just can't help it. Anyway...that is all for today...I am tired and getting crankier by the minute.

Nooooooooooo!....

Big news!...I got's a toofess!

Attention all you important peoples!!! Let it be known that on the 25th day of May, 2014, little Mr. Sebastian (that's me) was officially recognized as sprouting his first ever baby tooth! That's right, I'm getting my chompers folks!

So heres the deal, I've actually known for quite a while now that something strange was happening in my mouth. But I wasn't sure exactly what, cuz I'm a baby and all this stuff is still new...don't judge me. I did notice that it felt better when I chewed on my fisties though...so that's what I did...a lot. That should have been a sign.

The official unveiling happened when we all went out to eat. Mommy and Daddy were there with their friends. They were goofing around like normal. When Mommy put her knuckle in my mouth, it felt pretty good so I decided to chomp down. And that's when we discovered my first real toofess! Uncle Craig just happened to be snapping a photo at the exact same time. I think the reactions speak for themselves...

Gangsta or Pranksta, the sequel

Ok, this time Mommy may have went a little cray cray...

There appears to be an overwhelming need in suburbia these days, to transform the appearance of one's innocent, angelic looking baby into a street savvy, convicted felon. Or maybe that's just a game for our nursery.

Apparently, the last photo shoot wasn't quite realistic enough for Mommy. We had to further refine our ghetto costuming techniques. This time, we dove into the halloween costume bins and found ways to pepper in some additional authentic gang member flavor. Nice follow up, Mommy!

I think the overall character may still need a little work, though. The mustache and bandana make me look less like a cocaine kingpin and more like I'm selling vodka in the Siberian wilderness. If "Suburban Russian Mafia" ever comes into style, we may be all set!
